New Orleans here we come!

A quick trip to Rossmeyers Daytona Harley-Davidson for minor service and we are ready. At the moment I’m enjoying being in the garage packing the 2015 CVO Harley-Davidson Roadglide for our ride to New Orleans tomorrow morning. Daytona Beach, Fl to The Big Easy is a nice 650 mile ride. We are choosing two lanes only for this trip. Thinking about a stopover in either Apalachicola (home of their famous raw oysters) or Panama City to visit some family. Either way there is something special about packing and planning a tour. Colette and I both love it so much. The Weather Channel is screaming about big rain and big storms tomorrow with local TV showing 80% chance of rain. Riding in the rain is something I truly enjoy. Throttle and braking inputs by necessity must be fairly gentle. The Dunlop American Elite tires combined with the Roadglides linked anti-lock computer controlled braking definitely take some of the braking concerns away.

The radio show and life have been keeping us both super busy every single day. Tomorrow, rain or shine, we will be busy enjoying a TLO riding day headed West to the land of great food, great music and the company of my Sister Sharon and her Husband Jack. They are regulars in N’orleans and know all the small bars and restaurants that hide within.

Winter is coming in hard in the North and Florida is just beginning to enter the best riding of the year. Y’all come on down! We will be back sometime…

  1. Woah! I’m really enjoying the template/theme of this website.
It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s very difficult to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and appearance.
I must say that you’ve done a amazing job with this. Additionally, the blog loads super fast for
    me on Opera. Exceptional Blog!
